Some of the ingredients you will need for this tasty recipe include butter, garlic, peeled and sliced potatoes, heavy cream, grated gruyere cheese, grated parmigiano reggiano cheese, low sodium chicken stock, flour, and nutmeg. To start you will preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a baking dish with butter. Take the halved garlic and rub it around the baking dish. In a large saucepan melt your butter and add in flour, nutmeg and seasonings, you should have a paste like sauce. Slowly pour in heavy cream and chicken stock, and bring to boil then reduce to a simmer. Take off heat and stir in your gruyere cheese until melted.
