Some of the ingredients you will need for this Philly cheesecake stuffed peppers recipe include provolone cheese, some green bell peppers, sweet onion, baby bella mushrooms, butter, olive oil, minced garlic and some salt and pepper. To start the recipe slice the green peppers in half lengthwise, remove the ribs and seeds, Then slice some onions and mushrooms, and sauce over medium heat with some butter, olive oil, minced garlic and some salt and pepper. Saute the onions and mushrooms until they are nice and caramelized. This should take approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Then preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then slice some roast beef into think strips and add the onion ad mushroom mixture, cook for about five to ten minutes. Then line the inside of each green pepper with some of the provolone cheese, and fill each of the peppers with the meat mixture until they are almost overflowing. Take another piece of provolone cheese and top each of the peppers with it. Bake for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes until the provolone cheese on the top is a nice golden brown.
