Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Pizza
This Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Pizza recipe is like no pizza you've had before! The recipe combines two of our favorite recipes and makes them into one great recipe that you are sure to try again. This eggs and bacon breakfast pizza recipe provides a great way to dip into your golden yolks by using the delicious pizza crust. What's nice is that you don't just have to make this for breakfast, you can enjoy it as breakfast for dinner too.
When you initially think of this breakfast recipe idea, it seems a little unique. But when you take a look at it, the recipe makes sense. And who doesn't love some pizza crust added into a recipe, they are the perfect combination. This recipe is great for the morning, and it doesn't take a lot of time to prepare. You can save some time by using some refrigerated fresh pizza dough. You will also need some olive oil, some shredded mozzarella cheese, some cooked and crumbled bacon slices, and some eggs. You will also need some minced fresh chives, and flat leaf parsley if you'd like.
To start place a heavy baking sheet or pizza stone into the oven. Then preheat your oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. You will want to keep the pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven as the oven preheats. Make sure to let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes. Roll out your pizza dough into a circle on top of a floured surface, and then pierce the pizza dough all over with a fork. Very carefully remove the pizza stone or pan out from the oven. You can arrange the pizza dough on top of the pizza stone. Brush some oil all over the top of the pizza dough. Then top the pizza dough with some of the shredded mozzarella cheese and some bacon. Next crack eggs over the top of the pizza and sprinkle all over with some Parmesan cheese. Bake the pizza for approximately eight minutes, or until the pizza crust is crisp and browned. Before serving, you can sprinkle with some of the fresh chives and parsley if you'd like. Cut into equal slices. Serve and enjoy! This is a breakfast recipe you will want to try again.
