Some of the ingredients you will need for this recipe include butter, sliced carrots, chopped onion, quartered fresh mushrooms, minced garlic cloves, dry white wine, all purpose flour, reduced sodium chicken brother, chopped thyme leaves, shredded cooked chicken, kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, self rising flour, sugar and whipping cream. To start you'll want to preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Melt some butter in a Dutch oven over medium high heat and add the carrots and onion, and sauté for about five minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in the garlic and sauté for two minutes. Add the wine and cook for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with some flour, and cook, stirring constantly, for a few minutes. Slowly add the broth, stirring constantly and bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cream and next 5 ingredients. Stir in chicken, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and remove from heat. Whisk together some self rising flour and some sugar in a medium bowl. Stir together buttermilk and some melted butter in a small bowl. Stir buttermilk mixture and bacon into flour mixture until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.
