A Simple 28x28 Cabin with Awesome Must See Floor Plan
SMALLER homes do not have to make everything else seem tighter and cramped for the residents. As a matter of fact they - like casitas and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) -provide more benefits compared to bigger houses.
One of the most important things to consider in buying a house is the size: the bigger, the costlier to maintain. But a smaller home, which requires a smaller portion of the lot, cuts your expenses in half and also leaves a bigger space that can be used for other purposes.
A smaller house also requires less power consumption, which means fewer lighting units and other electrical fixtures. There is also less worry on wasted space as cleaning becomes a lot easier; use of the vacuum cleaner and water is minimized, saving you money, time and effort.
Unsurprisingly, a smaller home will always lack that much needed space. But, this does not have to affect comfort and privacy. You can always change the scenery in and around your house no matter how big or small it is. And you don't even need the expertise of an interior designer to do it for you. All it takes is some creativity to make your little abode look and feel much bigger than it actually is.
Here is an awesome, Simple 24x20 Cabin that would be perfect for anyone! A family or even just a couple would fit comfortably in this little cozy space. The cabin is a nice looking building too, it has the look of a cabin, and it also looks pretty modern in style too. The way the roof is slanted, gives it a more modern feel that is like an updated version of the homey old cabin concept. The cabin has a great lay out as well, with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and kitchen area, with an eat in dining room, it's got everything a little cabin needs.
You don't need too much space in a cabin, especially if you will only use it for recreational purposes, but even if it was a tiny home and you were using it for full-time living, there wouldn't be much of a problem either, since this is definitely enough space for a tiny home too! I love the colour of the house too, it's definitely got that beachy vibe to it and would be a great cabin for the lake or an ocean front property. There are so many windows too, allowing for optimum light in the house which is always wonderful!
This cabin was posted in a forum online, called the The Homesteading Boards, and someone posted it because they liked it so much they wanted others to check it out too. They also posted a link to a tiny house book, that you can check out through this forum. The book has photos and ideas of how to live in 400 square feet or less. Which is what tiny house living is after all.
