A Healthy, Appetizing Salad That's Quick to Make and Even Quicker to Eat

This fresh broccoli salad recipe has bacon and cheddar cheese! It's the classic side dish recipe that is quick and easy to do. It's a great salad to bring along to potlucks and get-togethers, and can be eaten any night of the week. This is a good salad recipe to make all year long. The best part about this recipe is the addition of the crispy bacon and the cheddar cheese, it's the perfect combination. The ingredients you will need for this delicious salad recipe include broccoli cut into bite sized pieces, bacon cooked and crumbled, finely chopped red onion, shredded or cubed cheddar cheese, cherry tomatoes cut into halves, raisins, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, salt and black pepper. To start, take a small bowl and combine the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt and black pepper. Then in a large bowl, toss together the bite sized broccoli pieces, red onion, bacon, cheddar cheese, cherry tomatoes and raisins (optional). Then combine the salad dressing with the broccoli mixture. Cover the salad and let chill in the refrigerator for about two hours before serving.

This includes when she is in the kitchen, therefore, her cooking philosophy is all about making quick and simple meal recipes that are delicious and healthy, with the occasional indulgence.

She is also the type of person that likes a challenge once in a while. This means that about 85 percent of her recipes are quick and simple, and about 15 percent might require an excessive amount of ingredients, or a larger chunk of time than she is typically comfortable with. She takes pride in making as much as she can from scratch. Occasionally, she takes a little help from the store, but she likes knowing that what she is putting in her body and what she is giving to those she loves and care about. The rewards that come from menu planning and preparing recipes are worth it, even if it may be time consuming.
